Thank you, that's clearer. My first impression was that the rails were composition of some sort, not solid wood, and I questioned the strength of that. I'll just check mine more closely. considering my skill level, it would be really nice if I didn't have to install different rails.
On the other hand, I'm no lightweight and I don't want to have to worry about crawling across the bed all the time, either.
