Last month we replaced our 2002 Saturn V-6 (3L) VUE AWD SUV with a low milage newer model. The 2007 Saturn VUE SUV V-6 AWD has a bigger engine (3.5L) made by Honda, the same one as the Honda Pilot. We towed our T@B from Colorado Springs to the Pahrump rally earlier this year, up over the Continental Divide (11,000+ elevation) through the Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass (10,000+) with the older Saturn. It made it o.k, but we could have used more power.
In the month we've owned the 2007, we got 27 mpg highway and 18 in the city, and are looking forward to towing the T@B. The Honda engine is more smooth, powerful, and economical than the older Saturn. Saturn SUV's used Honda engines from 2004-2007.

This puts a bad taste in my mouth with Jeep because I only had 60,000 miles on the vehicle. I had the engine oil cooler installed at a dealer, which is really the only engine component that makes the Jeep able to tow (other than the hitch and wiring assembly).
