Just another version of Linux, which is an operating system for your
computer instead of Windows or Mac. Linux doesn't get the same
attention from hackers or virus creators because of the tiny number of
personal users.

Of course, you have a very limited number of applications available to
you as well, again due to the tiny number of personal users.
