Re: [A/S] Recliners in Airstreams

 

I pulled the gaucho from a '89 29 ft AS and put two ordinary
recliners in. Stored the gaucho in big plastic garbage bags in the
garage and restored it when I sold it a few years later.

We got two full-sized ordinary (not wallhuggers) recliners from Sam's
club. Had to extend them and hold them sideways to get then in the AS
door, and just placed them where we wanted them without bolting them
down. They never moved, even though they rode to Alaska and back
(from SC) one time. We REALLY enjoyed the difference in comfort.

Been thinking about doing the same in the present '91 34 footer.
