[tabtrailers] Low water preasure?

When I dry camp I seem to get very low pressure from the pump?
Is there supposed to be a cap on the outside valve where you hook up the city water? I'm very new to my T@B and thought maybe I took off a cap and forgot to put it back on? If you don't have some sort of Valve or cap on the system wouldn't water just go from the pump out both ends?
Thus severely wasting the water and reducing pressure.
