Congratulations! What luck for you!!
Set the hand brake on the T@B tongue to the up/park position. if your black cushion is compressed, pull your vehicle forward a few inches until the cushion is extended. Use your rubber mallet to gently tap on the handle over the hitch ball so that it raises and you can fit the rubber mallet under the end of the lever. Then, release the crank handle on the side of the tongue to release the jockey wheel. When the wheel is on the ground or an inch or so off the ground, tighten the crank - then turn the top of the jockey wheel handle so that the the tongue will raise off the hitch ball. I sometimes have to 'drop my butt' on the back of the vehicle to pop the trailer off the hitch ball.
If you are getting in the T@B be sure to lower all four stabilizers so it won't ti backwards on you. That's a real surprise you don't want to have happen.
Check our Files for lots of basic information and be sure to print out the ReadySetTow card in the AA_TAB_Basics folder.
Welcome aboard!
