[tabtrailers] Re: Spare Tire Removal

Part of the reason I had them remove the spare from the bottom was that our T@B has the 15" tires and aluminum rims, yet the spare was an inch smaller with the steel rim!?! Luckly I had the fore thought to have them remove the spare so I could examine it and insure the bolts on the aluminum rims would fit in the event of a needed change. It was a surprise to the dealer and me when we realized we were looking at two different sized tires..

Long story short, they sold me a matching 15" tire and aluminum rim as a spare. And that wouldn't fit on the underside tire hanger. So I had them remove the hanger all together.

Now I need to do some form of frame or box mount.
