Rik - your words sound familiar,
We've thought about selling ours with a "buy one - get one free"
offer, but not seriously.
All of ours (89/32, 67/22, 63/22) were cleaned up before the pollen
bloomed. Now they need another scrubbing - a never ending process.
We're thinking a clear slate would be a good place for us to start
over. This time a small motor home might be just the ticket for us,
i.e. more parking choices, easier to maneuver, no toad necessary; and
we already know a 22' Safari is a good size for us.
After two decades of full timing the North American continent, we're
now more interested in short visits with the grand children.
All three of them live too far away for their entire family to make
the trek to "Camp Grampa" very often. Soooo ....
We've been toying with the idea of traveling to their neck of the
woods for a couple of months - but with a small motor home; then we
could have "campers" rotate in and out on their schedule - with us
taking "breaks" now and then.
Breaks would give us a chance to replenish the larder, play tourist a
little ourselves and be self indulgent occasionally. Some of us who
are aspiring centenarians have taken a liking to 10 minute naps in
the afternoon ....... or longer when the pitter patter of rain on
our roof sends us a soft lulling invitation.
Rik, good luck with your cleaning and selling,
Terry
