I feel very badly about this. So many people have tried to advise the
establishment on how to increase that number, but they always have
gotten angry and rejected the advice. A sad situation. Still, a/s's -
especially the older ones - remain both a remarkable work of art and
remarkable engineering - and still the best place in the world to live.

Unnecessary - there are accessible places which are neither. How would
low of 55 and high of 68 today strike everyone?

Less people -> less money.

Less people, and older people -> fewer walkers. For example, wifey and
I now are both mobility impaired and wouldn't have been able to add to
your group had we been there.

But not in July.

If you were a vendor, wouldn't you also be unhappy with 535 units at a
"condensed" rally?
Hopefully the establishment will schedule the next rally for a site that
is out of the tornado belt and in a cooler clime.
Unfortunately, even if these issues are addressed, as long as the
economy is as bad as it is, people are not going to be putting money
into any more gasoline than they have to, nor will they be attracted by
activities that were popular a generation or two ago.
Like I said, I feel very badly about this.
