The story I've heard is the place that was chosen fell trough and since these venues are booked up two or three years in advance they had to pick a new site quickly. We've been to the Perry, GA fairgrounds just a couple of years ago and it's a nice site with full hook-ups (mostly). The weather is quite veritable that time of year… it could be very nice but it's usually hot. I'm sure they are just trying to do the best job they can with the situation at hand.
