Anne,
We have a '77 that had a large metal box covering the old converter and two
battery boxes that had external access doors. I removed both battery boxes
and moved a single large battery to the tongue where the old vacuum brakes
were installed. The trailer was already converted to electric brakes (I
highly recommend this modification) I also removed the metal box and old
converter which was large, hot and noisey. I replaced with a new
intellipower which is a fraction of the size and easily fits behind my new
couch. I even have room for the optional storage drawer under the couch.
The converter will easily be incorporated into any cabinetry. Feel free to
