I did use plastic the first time I redid the screens, but between the 38
year old spline I used and just time and misuse the plastic wasn't doing
it's job.

The original spline is thinner than the .125 spline that is, I think,
the thinnest available. I had quite the time getting it into the slot
on my screens, but now I can even swat flies on the screen, and I think
the silver goes nicely with my trailer.....

I didn't stop to think about radio reception, but I'm glad I put in the
aluminum screens.

I wonder if the thinner spline is available anywhere?
