We have had our cork floors just over 2 years....love them....I just try to
mop up any spilled water quickly.....there are a few dents and marks but you
can't see them unless you are looking for them.....easy to sweep and wash
with vinegar when I get the chance....dog doesn't scratch them....they are
good to go...paula

All of this talk of cork floors has me ready to replace the old vinyl

I'd love some feedback from the voices of experience.

Jim,
I've had a cork floor down in the front half of my trailer for about 5 years
now. It has a small "smile" in it where a cup jumped out of the overhead
but no one can find it but me. I'm somewhat careful with it. use that felt
stuff on the bottom of chair and table legs. It gets swept about once every
couple of weeks and wet mopped about 4 times a year or as needed. I like it
well enough that I'm planning on doing the bed room when I get a "round
tuit". I used luan under it and glued it down with water based contact
cement. Finish is 3 coats of water based polyurethane with a spot touch up
in a couple of spots. I keep a throw rug at the door and in front of the
sink, it just feels homier to me that way.
