Anne,

Fantastic Vent say do not put a cover over their fan........ I had one
and got rid of it, it got so dirty it was disgusting and it does limit
air movement. Dotty showed me how to just open the fan a little way so
it can't rain in.

I have a closet behind the wall and I put a 2x4 up against the inside
wall and screwed into it.

I have a wingard roof mount.... it finds the signal automatically. The
only problem is, I can't park under trees.

Consider cork, vinyl sheeting, pergo, hardwood....

Mine is up under the front of my trailer. Airstream makes a carrier to
go there.
