Right on, Polly !!! Had to laugh about your last eating out statements !! Don't cook in the Tramper except on the top burners (oven is storage for a couple of pots, lids & an 8" iron skillet) because Ronnie likes to cook outside. Have to wonder if the 2nd-hand smoke cloud at Burning Man would mellow him out so much that he'd take Dutch ovening to whole new level !!
(Still want to go 1 year & find out personally instead of speculating!)

My thoughts ran the same way, even a weekend at a VAC rally in Colorado
reaks havoc on what minimal interior decoration my vintage Globetrotter gets
every other year or so. I got rid of the carpet, put down plain Jane tile,
and try not to clutter up every surface with practical stuff like food and
cooking utensils but with about 5 sq ft of counter space, how does one
prepare meals in something that looks so sterile? I suspect they plan to eat
out, can one do that at Burning Man? or do you just do enough smoking, etc,
so food in not a concern?
