I've always heard that gray water didn't harm the soil. Here in Central Texas, most older homes, as well as many new McMansions are built to "expel" their gray water onto the surrounding soil as a beneficial source of water for the trees. I doubt some small amount of such gray water, released at night, would harm anything & be completely absorbed & gone by morning. Am I wrong on this?

I just watched a Documentary 'burning man: black rock city' (2005 release of 2003 BM) on Netflix. Very enlightening! The dust bowls would be more of a concern than the smoking bowls. Harsh! Several spottings of aistreams in the film. It would definitely be an experience (not currently on my bucket list). bM is quite a production ($7 million budget, 3000+ volunteers, planning starts 364 days before the burn!) They do sell ice and coffee at the BM cafe!
