We or I check out used diesel trucks at dealers in our area, but after tour experience & other stories on 6.0 diesels. We will do more investigating. But, that will be in future, plumbing problems in kitchen of house. Now need plumbing, flooring, cabinets, etc. So, renovations on 23' AS on hold.
.We found a 1994 F-150 original 50,000+ miles about 2 years ago. Original owner traded it in on new auto. The person we bought from had traded in a Corvette for the truck & then put truck for sale. Clean, clean! Dav put new tires this year & did maintenance on items immediately after getting truck.
He definitely does not want dogs cruising in it, & that included me drink it around town. After truck became ours, Dave pulled Jeep to KY with FORD van, & I drove '94 to KY w/granddaughter. I stayed a couple months in KY & kept Van & jeep.
When we headed back to Louisiana before holidays, I did drive the truck towing Jeep home. Yea! My 1st towing trip. I did not do any damage to truck, jeep or any other autos, bldgs.,etc.
