I purchased Faux wood mini blinds from Blinds Chalet (on line) & love them!
They are very reasonably priced & They are about the only place to get
them as a 1" wood finish blind which gives you a smaller blind depth &
header stack than the standard 2" wood. Other reasons why: 1) Here in
Arizona I was worried about real wood blinds frying in the dry heat. 2)
Wood vs. aluminum (I had in last AS) is a better insulator, works with
vintage interior better & has more privacy. 3) Blinds v. drapes: the blind
louvers can be tipped up or down to a) prevent sun from heating up interior
but still gives light & view b) give privacy but still allows air
circulation from open window. 4) the blind comes with a bottom rail bracket
to keep it close to the curved AS wall. If interested I can send pictures
of mine.
