Re: [A/S] Electrical

Found the problem! Yesterday I bought a new extension cord. Same problem. I
also bought an adapter and plugged into another outlet as suggested.
Problem went away. Shut off the breaker and pulled the dedicated camper outlet.
The licensed electrician who installed it hooked it up wrong even though
the plug itself clearly said where the wires went. It is now fixed and
everything seems to be working. The old univolt is humming loudly! It's on my
short list of things to be replaced.
To those of you who saved me a call to an electrician, thank you very much.
Now to find my plumbing leak.
Best regards,
Steve

Either gone bad as Rob suggests or are you using an extension cord or
adapter of some type, if you are
they are not wired the same as the Airstreams power cord. Another
possibility is the plug has been replaced and was miswired. Do you have a
multimeter and the ability to check your cord for continuity?
