Did the XIT dealer tear down the motor or did they just tell you it had
to be replaced? Looking at the web site and reading the narrative the
only thing that I see is the tip of the glow plug is broken off. If it
came off it could have caused a hole in the piston or it could have just
lodged under valve. It's probably to late now but they should have
pulled the head before condemning the motor if they didn't Sorry to
bring this up so late but the pictures started to bother me today.
