Re: [A/S] New Orleans

There is also a RV park in the French Quarter named the French Quarter RV Park. It is near the fringes but still within walking distance of everything. It is gated and fenced so it should be safe, but I believe it is fairly pricey. There are also two nice state parks on the North Shore - Fontainebleu and Fairview Riverside. Both will be about a 30 minute drive to the quarter but are located close to the fun small towns of Covington, Mandeville, and Abita Springs (home of the Abita Brewery). Christmas is always a fun time in the city. Be sure to get a Freda po-boy (roast beef and baked ham) at Mother's and some beignets at Cafe Du Monde. My current favorite restaurant is Cochin. The Saints host the Falcons on 12/26 at the Dome if you like football. Have fun!
