The simple truth is that in any commercial ammonia cycle cooling system
(ice plants, bottling plants, frozen food warehouses, etc.) the cooling coil
is made of type 316 Stainless Steel and lasts forever.
Both Dometic and Norcold could make that one simple change to the product at
an additional cost of perhaps $100 and the fridge would last as long as the
RV.
