We live near there every January and February. We might stay at
Travelers' Rest were it not for the fact that we have a free campsite
available with all the amenities we can use.
TR is a former a/s only park, but in recent years has beene open to
anyone. It has a good reputation among both campers and locals, though
some people think it a bit pricey. It does have many amenities of its
own available on grounds, with almost endless very middle class
amenities nearby. Since we don't stay there, someone else will have to
answer about the WiFi.
Temperatures during those 2 months are exactly to our taste - any
further south is too warm and muggy for us, while further north gets a
bit chilly. But remember, tastes differ - you might not agree.
Hope this helps you out a bit.
Peace,
