Let me add another testimonial for the bucket trap.
I store all foodstuffs in the frig or metal containers so there's nothing easily available other than the bait.
My trailers are parked at my place in the country so I'm not able to check them on a daily basis, more like bi-weekly.
So I use antifreeze solution and I'm not greeted with stinky bloated mice as the antifreeze acts as a preservative..
I built mine using taller six gallon buckets so it would be harder for the larger varmits to make the leap to escape.
The bucket traps always have one or two mice/ rats in 'em when I check them.
I'll have to try the hand goop thang. Any particular brand?
Hunter, I feel for ya with this nasty weather, but on the other hand it's filling my tanks and greening my grass.
We REALLLY need the rain.
If it keeps up we should have a nice wildflower bloom this spring.
If you want to stay consistantly warm you need to get south of I-10, at least to Corpus.
Old trucks,
Old trailers,
