They are pricey, but I'm not so sure they're over priced..... arguably
they are the Rolls Royce of travel trailers...... having been in many of
the SOBs I can attest that Airstream has much higher quality carpeting,
upholstery, cabinetry......
People thought I was nuts to pay what I did for mine, but its still
worth about what I paid for it and the best is I'll never have to buy
another trailer.... this one will outlive me. Good for me, bad for
Airstream because I'll never buy a new one.
As for their weight...... that's what big assed trucks are for <g> My
truck can pull anything Airstream makes.

The beauty of that is, you can buy a Beatrice years trailer and get the
lightweight and the light interior......
