Hi, Hunter, No I'm not working for any competiton. But I have looked it up
,and unless I'm reading the charts wrong Airstreams has got a lot heavier
since the Beatrice years. One good place to check it out is colonial
airstream in NJ. they have all the data on prices and weight. in their new
and sold inventory section. from their new models to the ones they sold.
..Cheers Dominick

Jeez, one would think you work for the competition Dominick. <g>
I don't want to take the time to look up statistics but I believe
Airstream has been getting lighter and lighter in the last 15 years.
Sure, they still make the classic but back in the early 90s all they
made was the classic. Now they make Internationals, Safaris, the
Sport..... and all of them are lighter than classics.
There is an Airstream for everyone who wants one.
There are vintage ones, new ones, light ones, dark ones, wood interiors,
wood cabinets, Formica cabinets, silver walls, white walls, carpeted
walls.....
I think you are seeing the glass half empty.
Hunter
