The best part is the little SOB is still alive, although I think the
poison may be working.... because it makes them thirsty and there's no
water in this place to drink.
Since I have the dogs, I've blocked two tiny holes along the large
pantry so none of the poison winds up on the trailer floor.
One was a damp paper towel, I used it after I dried my hands on it.....
This morning its not there which means rattie pulled it inside.... the
dry one is still there so I am hoping he pulled it in for the dampness,
not nesting material.
Years ago, when I had the two cats, I was awakened in the middle of the
night by a savage growling noise. I turned on the light and my cats Cody
was standing on my bed with a mouse in his mouth. "CODY!!!!" I yelled,
"Spit that out"
Much to my amazement he did. Mousie ran between the bed and the
mattress so I turned off the light and went back to sleep.
The next day, I was sitting at my computer and guess who was walking
along the window sill in front of me.
I turned and looked for my saviors, two dogs and two cats were curled up
sound asleep. )c:
So, I did the glass and paper trick and caught him and took him outside
far away from the trailer......
I am so over trying to not kill them....
