Well, earthlink didn't let me see this message so I'm glad part of it was mentioned in another email....Thanks for the tip. I really want to do something with the walls that doesn't add weight. Although I sure do long for the wood look. I'm saving a roll of cherry skin from my home kitchen remodel and packing it just in case I get inspired to use it somewhere. 
 
 I wondered about using non-RV carpenters because of how they might want to secure the cabinet into the walls, and of course, weight of materials. Maybe I can find someone as I start my travels.
