Does anyone know exactly what the white coating Airstream is using on the
roof of the new ones is? As far back as the early 60's Avion was using Kool
Seal aluminum roof coating to seal their roof, it lasts FOREVER but the
aluminum wears off and leaves the tar behind. I just recoated my '61 Avion
Tourist when I was installing A/C more for looks than leaks it was still
sealed very well.
