I asked my mechanic about getting one, for my old truck to get better
mileage. He said it will get worse because if the truck has more power
it'll make itself think it needs to use more fuel to feed it.

All that said.... everyone keeps answering about diesels.... remember he
has a 5.7 vortec IIRC.
