Oliver, I am with you on everything you post here
including this one. I have an '06 Cummins. I played with
the Diablo tuner for a while and determined the factory
settings were where they were for a reason. With the
Diablo I could have chewed up the tranny in one hard ride
if I pushed it enough. I wound up selling the Diablo on
eBay and managed to get half of my money back. Any nominal
fuel economy gains did not justify the purchase.
Once my engine hit 100k miles and properly broken in I was
getting 16-17 mgp while towing my 34. Way better than my
old Armada gasser.
