My 22 foot 1955 Flying Cloud is a custom job. It was built by Wally for a friend of his ( I was able to confirm this through the buyer's grandson). There are 3 beds. Two twins in the rear and one in front where a dinette would be. Under one of the rear beds is a water tank with a fill pipe.
Under the front bed is also a water tank with another fill pipe that is located on the front outside. I do not know how many gallons they hold.
At first it was cool to have a custom AS but now it is a bummer because there is no dinette.
Has anyone come across this setup and especially has anyone taken out the front tank and put a dinette in?
It had a small portable table that fits into a socket and you use it by sitting on the bed, not good. Unfortuately this little table got wet outside and de-laminated. The metal tube leg is rusty, Regardless sitting at the table gives no back support and is only for a quick meal, not work.
The trailer is in storage and in the next couple of weeks I will move it to my home and start restoring it, floor first. So I will start asking questions on how to restore it. Overall it is in good condition.
