[A/S] Re: Satellite TV

I am a retailer for both Dish and DirecTV and by far, Dish is the way to go in an RV. For only $500.00 you can buy the Dish Network Tailgater and a compatible satellite receiver for your RV. The tailgater is a 100% automatic satellite dish that you just set outside your RV and go inside and watch TV. It will lock into all three satellites automatically as long as it has a clear view of the southern sky. Because you own the receiver there is no contract or commitment and you can activate it for only the months you are using the RV. If you already are a Dish Network customer you can add the RV receiver to your Dish account for $7.00 per month. When your Dish Network account is tagged as a tailgater user, you can call Dish from anywhere in the country as you travel and they will activate the receiver to receive the local networks in that area.

I recommend visiting a local satellite dealer, never call 1-800 to buy a satellite system. You will get better service and the same price from a local shop!
