RE: [A/S] Interior Paint - Water base primer with phenomenal adhesion

There is a water base (acrylic, I believe) primer which has phenomenal
adhesion, even to relatively slick surfaces. It is Zinser 1 - 2 -3, and
comes in a white can with blue lettering. This stuff will even stick to
glazed tile!

Of course, you first have to wash (and remove any oil or grease from the
surface to be painted). The caveat is that this primer MUST DRY (and cure)
for several days before the adhesion is effective. (I would wait at least a
week)

After that, you can top coat with latex or oil based finishes.

1 2 3 is widely distributed and can be found in most any paint store or home
center - like Home Depot.
