Best advise I would have is to do a thorough cleaning first. You'll be
amazed how greasy and dirty the walls will be. I tried amonia years ago on
my first airstream and even with a lot of fans running it was not the way to
go. The orange cleaners you can get at Lowes, Home Depot etc., are great
cleaners and are very safe. I started with a full strength solution lightly
sprayed on the wall and rubbed it off with a rag after sitting for a few
minutes but before drying. Then I went over the area several times with wet
rags to remove the rest of the dirt and soap residue. Don't work too much
area or it will dry on you and will be more difficult to remove all of the
dirt and soap. I also did a final clear water rinse with fresh water and
rags. Works great, is safe and easy to do.
After it is clean follow normal painting procedures with primer etc.
