I had Jap tires on my 66 Airstream and my 67 Scotty. The never failed. But they wore out very fast. I now run bias ply USA Carlisle on the both trailers. I've never had any problems and after a few years and many miles they still look like new. They cost more then other tires but I think you get what you pay for.

I've tried both Marathon and Carlisle in the past and had poor service from both of them. Three years ago I switched to Maxxis - I've been real pleased with them. No problems so far.
