Hi Hunter,

The issue with TCM on Direct TV and my brother is that TCM channel
availible in HDTV (high def.). We both have the respective companies
HDTV service, my brother does get TCM but NOT in HDTV, only in standard
definition. In comparison, on Dish Network, TCM is HDTV...

A classic case in point was recently TCM showed "Reap the wild Wind"
filmed in 1942 with John Wayne and Paulette Goddard. This is a movie
that has been restored and cleaned up and I commented to my brother
about having seen it and it was spectacular. His only comment is
unprintable here but Direct TV's peoples ears should have been flaming...
