[A/S] Winnamucca

This summer I'm leading a photography workshop on a spectacular ranch in Idaho. I'm planning to take my 25' Safari all the way up there from Santa Barbara, where I teach at Brooks Institute of Photography.

I know I'll be staying in the Alabama HIlls just outside of Lone Pine CA. It is a favorite camping spot for me. If you recall I bought my Airstream to use while I was working on my Masters of Fine Arts thesis project. You can see that work on my website, www.eliotcrowley.com.

Recently the folks in Lone Pine have asked me to be a judge of a photography contest there and it works out that the timing is perfect for my trip to Idaho.

I usually boondock in the Alabama Hills and am very comfortable with that but also appreciate the hookups in organized campgrounds. My plan is to make it to Winnamucca NV the next night. Does anyone have any references there for hookups or some BLM land to boondock on?

By the way if you are interested in what the workshop is about the url is www.westernstatesworkshops.com. Feel free to pass this on to anyone you might think would be interested in attending.

Thanks,

Eliot Crowley
