RE: [A/S] New Ford F-150 Turbo charged V6

I believe this engine has twin turbo chargers. Down the road when this engine has the mileage it will require rebuildingboth turbos or the replacement of them, (very expensive).You can really boost the HP of any engine with turbochargers, I believe it puts quite alot of stress on the engine, preiginition,and the fuel requirements associated with it. If I owned one, I would only use synthetic oil to keep the turbos running longer.david parris

I am at a rally at Camp Pendalton this weekend. There are two people here with the new Ford F-150 turbo charged engine. One is towing a 30' Safari. I am amazed that a V6 can do it. Apparently very efficiently too. I guess we will have to see how they hold up towing the large trailers. If they hold up I think Ford has a winner.
