The front gaucho bed in my 1967 Overlander Airstream has been cobbled together by a former owner. The original slides are there in good condition and the flat boards that the cushions rest on are there, but the front of the gaucho bed that should be attached to the seat is missing so it doesn't pull out easily or remain stable. Right now when the bed is pulled out, it is necessary to put a block of wood on a post under each end to keep it up. I've looked online for photos of how the bed should look and have found diagrams of the underside, but they are not clear. Is there anyone out there that could give me some advice on how to get it working correctly? If you have some ideas or have repaired one yourself, I could email some photos of what I have now for your input. Thanks a bunch!
