Re: [A/S] Misc. pre-flight checklist

Hunter's comment regarding the TV wall mount should be heeded. Attaching to the Airstream wall itself is a recipe for a new TV (ie after the mount and TV removed themselves from the wall during travel). Airstream's TV mount used a large backing plate (almost 12"X12") that contained over 2 dozen short screws, but they ONLY installed it on one of bulkhead walls, never the interior skin. Also, keep in mind that most mounts you can buy in the big box stores were NEVER designed to handle dynamic loads (ie the TV being bounce up and down as will occur during travel). Getting a mount that includes a quick release so that you can stow the flat screen tv safely for travel is a good idea (that is what I did for the Bambi where the TV is mounted on a fully articulating arm).
