Re: [A/S] Spring fixes: Paint and dinette

Hey Bob,

We just painted the interior of our 1993, 21 foot Sovereign.

We used Super Clean in the purple spray bottle in the auto department at
wall mart. This is the super grease cutter. Then we used plain water to
wipe down again. Then for the third round of cleaning we finally used TSP
(just to make sure!

Then we used XIM Vinyl and plastic, (oil based), bonding primer. It's not
easy to find so we bought it from www.worldpaintsupply.com

In the end we chose two coats Glidden Premium Satin Latex. We chose the
"white on white"

We've been doing lots of work pulling up carpets, putting down floors,
priming and painting. Next comes finding a carpenter in Los Angeles to
rebuild a wrap around bench and table for the front. It's a labor of love
and we sure do love our Airstream!

Hope this helps... We'll be posting pictures as the project advances but I
hope some of this helps!

/Steve
