Slide outs give you more living space in the trailer....... the age
trailer you're looking at will be 7.5 or 8 feet wide....
People with the 8 foot wide trailers come into my 8.5 ft wide trailer
and always notice the difference... if 6" wider makes such a difference,
imagine what a slide will do...
Some newer Airstreams have slides.... they are more expensive than non
slides and heavier.... both for obvious reasons.
I will say, I've been tempted by them, but its my understanding that
every time you stop, you have to put down the stabilizers before you can
put out the slide... that's a deal breaker for me.
I never use my stabilizers.
