Re: [A/S] water pump discussion

Hmmmm. This was the scenario when I noticed the leak, right after filling the water tank until it came out the overflow. About five minutes later I noticed the drip (not coming from the overflow on the side next to the filler tube, but from underneath on the tank edge).

And point well taken on current draw. Since I'm gearing up for a solar makeover once I get to the SW, I will need to do the math (oh dear, trouble ahead) to see if the extra power trumps the extra pressure, or vice versa. But nice to know the options can mostly be ordered by mail and self-installed, although I don't know about those flexible hose fittings on either side of the new pump to dampen the noise/vibration. What exactly should I be requesting if I am ordering by phone or internet (in terms of the flex hose)?

Thanks!
