[A/S] >3. Air Conditioner on Fritz

 

 That sux. It's the first of A/C season.
It was an impressive storm, I got an inch of rain in Lockhart.
Atfer 16 years there may be some cracks in the outside cover.
Hopefully whatever it is that got wet will dry out.

  No fan? Is the noise (buzz/ hummmm) the compresor running?
.
If you take the inside cover off can you spin the fan by hand?
If you can spin it, does it spin with little or no resistance?
Could be the shaft on the fan needs some lubrication.
 
There are some capacitors under the outside cover. I believe they are for the compressor but they may affect the fan also.
