I met Kathy the old gal who use to pull her I think it was 1964 Carvel? with a old Crown Victoria, I met her at the Hobo Rally about four or five years ago.  She told me to fold a comforter in half and sleep in it instead of making the bed.  It works great that is how I deal with the hard to make bed situation.
