I am afraid that the news isn't what I had hoped to report. Kathryn L. Hunt of Woodburn, OR passed away March 30, 2009 (she was 86 years old). I don't know how I missed learning of her passing. So often I caught up with her by visiting with her friends in the Oregon Unit of the WBCCI, and the 2009 International is the last that I attended for the full run . . . and didn't do much visiting around as I was recovering from heat stroke.

I always think of Kathy when I am at a WBCCI function and someone stands up and shouts "TELEPHONE". I always scanned the parking area when arriving at the VAC pre-rally for Kathy and her Bambi . . . her poodle and my Chihuahuas often enjoyed visiting while we setup our coaches.
