I would offer a suggestion. When you have an opportunity, make sure the
hub for the fan blades is tight. If that is slipping it could make a real racket
and the condenser coil won't get proper air flow, possibly over loading the
compressor. I had a similar problem with my ancient class A, maybe 20 years
ago. Depending on how the fan hub is attached, to the shaft, it could become
loose, free wheel a bit, then catch and work normally. This is only a semi-
educated guess, but it is also a good excuse to clean the fan, condenser,
and oil the bearings, assuming the motor has lubricatable bearings. If it does,
be sure to get the top and the bottom bearings.

I don't know what's happening, but my a/c is now working just fine... on
auto. Maybe when David had me hit the high speed fan it loosened
something.....
Whatever, its working again....
