If you have a Costco membership, the Costco tire department will replace the
air in your tires with nitrogen. Typically at no charge - just go there
when they are slow.
Costco inflates the tires they sell with nitrogen.
I am firmly convinced that tire dealers and car dealers will be switching to
nitrogen within the next several years.
This is partially due to the federally mandated tire pressure monitors in
all new cars. You see, any moisture in the tires will gum up the internally
mounted tire pressure sensor. Nitrogen prevents this, and the associated
warranty service costs.
