Another question about our 1963 Globetrotter. I did not want to put
a track on the bottom of the window to keep the curtains tight to the
wall because it would have created problems with opening and closing
the windows. Also, I wanted a soft informal gathered look and my
curtains hang away from the wall because of the curve in the
Airstream. I have looked at pictures of early Airstreams and see that
one solution was to put a "button/hook" on the wall, elastic is
attached to it and then goes across the wall to the other "button/
hook." Then you would tuck the curtains in behind the elastic at
night to keep the curtains close to the wall. Do you know what the
technical name is for the "button" and where I would purchase it?
